It's true it's not exactly an autolock like Symmetra, but it's very very forgiving. Why play Ana which is a support with crappy survivability and a mechanically punitive hero, when you can just play a long range symmetra that can group heal and group damage and has great survivability? And please, don't tell me that aiming with Moira is not easy. They screw up their positioning or the cooldown management? It's ok fam just self heal lol. It feels like you're held to a higher standard, miss a shot and your chances of winning the encounter lower drastically. Moira actually heals herself almost twice as much as Lucio.īecause yes, even the dopamine spikes you'd get when hitting your shots on those two heroes are ruined by the fact they self heal constantly from the damage they make, damage made with low effort on their part. Finally, she heals herself more than Lucio does (without using Amp It up). Brigitte has the longest distance boop in the game. Brigitte walks and deploys her shield faster than Reinhardt, and stays protected when using her mobility ability. Moreover, if shooting at a shield is not fun, at least the tanks that have a shield must choose between being shielded and mobility. And flash's CD is 10 sec, vs 5 sec for shield bash. But at least it requires a bit of timing/aiming on his part.
Who here hasn't sighed when he got flashed by a McCree then fan the hammered. Brigitte's kit has everything that is cancer in this game : a stun, a shield, a boop, and self healing. Shooting at a shield, or getting stunned then pummeled while Brigitte swings her weapon in your general direction while you're trying to aim, friggin sucks too. That's why people have been bitching so much about Hanzo's scatters, or getting killed by random Junkrat bomb. People want their individual skill to matter, people want to try and control the situation. In all the games I've played, no one has ever liked RNG, no one likes randomness. Booping is funny.īut getting killed by randomly bouncing orbs feels so bad when you're trying to hit skillshots. I suspect that when Blizzard creates a new character's kit, they only think about what's fun from the point of view of the hero, and not from the opponents POV. Who likes getting killed by Sym? By Torb's turret? But at least they're somewhat niche heroes. It just doesn't feel nice playing aim-intensive heroes, against heroes that just need to left click in your general direction. I like playing Roadhog and hit nice hooks.
I like playing McCree (even though I think the flash mechanic is cancer too at least it takes a bit of aiming). The heroes I've played the most : Ana, Tracer, Widowmaker. I feel like I'm not playing a first person shooter anymore. I am deeply unhappy about Blizzard's last new heroes (Moira and Brigitte).
